Terms of use

Chromalie is a free browser colouring studio operated by StoryWell Books. These terms describe the permitted use of the studio and its library. Contact sales@storywell.in with questions.

Using the studio

You can choose a page, colour it, save progress in your browser and download your work. There is no visitor account, subscription or checkout. Chromalie does not ask for payment details.

Use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to interfere with its operation, bypass access controls or introduce harmful code. Adults should guide young people when they use the internet and handle any contact with us on their behalf.

Artwork and permitted reuse

You may use the colouring tools and keep your finished work for personal, home and classroom use, subject to the rights and licence terms that apply to the underlying illustration. Downloading a picture does not transfer copyright in that illustration.

Rights in original artwork remain with its respective rights holders. The Chromalie name, site design and original site content are separate from the supplied illustrations. The Chromalie footer identifies the studio through which a page was coloured; it does not claim authorship of the underlying drawing.

A licence permitting the sale, redistribution or commercial reuse of an illustration must be obtained from the relevant rights holder. These terms do not grant a blanket licence to sell or repackage the uncoloured library. If you believe an illustration should be removed or credited differently, use the rights contact.

Your saved work

Artwork and custom colours save on your device when device saving is enabled. Clearing site data, changing browser, using a private window or visiting a different website address can affect access to those saves. A download remains on your device independently of browser storage.

You can download a PNG for viewing and printing or an editable project file for reopening in Chromalie. You are responsible for keeping copies you wish to retain. Undo history is available while a page is open and is not a permanent archive.

Availability and limitations

We may update the tools and library. Brush textures approximate drawing media. Shape detection can be affected by faint, open or broken outlines. Device and browser differences can affect the experience. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, StoryWell Books is not responsible for loss arising from unavailable service or lost device saves. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Sharing

The Share button hands your coloured page to your device’s own share menu, or opens WhatsApp. Chromalie does not receive the picture; what happens to it after that is governed by the app you choose.

Law, changes and contact

Indian law applies to these terms, subject to mandatory protections and jurisdiction rules that apply to you. The courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. Please contact sales@storywell.in first so that we can try to resolve a problem.

We will date changes to these terms on this page. Changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law.
