Cookies & device storage
Chromalie’s application code does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It uses browser storage for colouring and your preferences. Hosting services may use their own essential security or delivery cookies.
What the studio stores

Choose what saves
Turning device saving off stops new artwork and custom palette saves. Earlier saved work remains available until you clear it. The saving choice itself is remembered so that the browser can respect it.
You can clear Chromalie’s saved artwork and custom palette through the settings. This also resets the open page. Download work you wish to keep before clearing it. The studio cannot remove cookies set by another host or service; manage these through that service or your browser settings.
Hosting and third parties
Technical requests to a hosting service are necessary to load this website. On GitHub Pages, GitHub logs visitor IP addresses for security. On the earlier chatgpt.site version, OpenAI’s hosting arrangements apply. Read the privacy notice and the relevant provider’s privacy information.
The studio has no advertising trackers or embedded social-media feeds. It sends anonymous daily counts, described in the privacy notice, which use no cookie and no browser storage, and which stop when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. The storage notice is an explanation of device-saving behaviour. Dismissing it does not authorise advertising or any further analytics.
Browser controls
Your browser can block or clear site storage. Blocking it can prevent saved work and preferences from surviving a session; colouring and downloads remain available where the browser supports them. Storage permissions and private-browsing behaviour vary by browser.
