Accessibility
We want Chromalie’s menus, instructions and controls to be readable and usable. We are improving the studio as people use it and report problems.
What is available
The site has larger text for navigation, page details and instructions, keyboard focus indicators, labels for controls, a skip link, responsive layouts and support for reduced-motion preferences. Text can be enlarged through the browser’s zoom controls.
The studio includes brush-size, opacity and smoothing controls, zoom and pan, undo and redo, automatic area clipping, and a focus view that gives the drawing more space. Controls use text and labels as well as colour swatches.
Current limitations
Brush strokes and the eraser need a mouse, touch input or stylus. From a keyboard you can fill whole shapes: tab to the page area, move the pointer with the arrow keys (hold Shift to move faster, press Home to centre it) and press Enter or Space to colour the shape under it with the chosen colour. Pick colour and Select areas work the same way. The studio has been listened to with TalkBack on Android but not yet with VoiceOver, and the shapes on a page are not described to a screen reader. Illustrations have collection and subject labels; detailed descriptions of individual drawing elements are not yet available.
We have not completed an independent accessibility audit and do not claim a certified conformance level. Browser and assistive-technology differences may affect the experience.
Report a problem
Email sales@storywell.in with the page or control involved, your browser and any assistive technology you use. Include only the information needed to explain the problem. We will review the report and discuss available alternatives where possible.
